  Super disappointed with this provincial park. The parking area was full of holes and most were blocked off by huge piles of dirt or construction tape. Getting to the beach from parking area 2 is impossible, the wooden walkway is completely overgrown with weeds and bushes, and closer to the beach it's submerged in muddy water. Parking area 1 wasn't any better, also had huge submerged areas making it disgusting to get to. The 'beach' was full of litter and garbage as shown in the photos. Tires, beach toys, balloons, and other trash was all over the place. A crew came to clean some of it up but most of the trash was in the bushes. And speaking of bushes, 50% of the beach is covered in plant life which is full of bugs. The 15% of the beach right along the water is filled with tree branches and other plants washed up along shore. The small portion of actual beach was ok but you honestly are better going elsewhere for a beach like the public beach across the port. Very disapointed in this, drove from Niagara for what ended up being 30 minutes on the beach and 30 minutes trying to get from the parking lot to the beach.

  Great place to camp! Super private sites available. The off leash dog beach was a hit with the pooch and our friends! Plus the trail in the park was gorgeous and we'll maintained.

  We love to camp here. The park is clean amd the sites we have gotten are always spacious. Typically we have great weather and always love the beach.
